Meet the Peperomia Obtusifolia, aka the baby rubber plant! This little guy stores water in its leaves, so you only need to water it unless when the soil’s almost dry—about once every one to two weeks. In winter, you can cut back on watering since it takes a break from growing. It loves humidity but can handle lower levels like a champ. Light-wise, it’s happy with medium to bright indirect light but can survive in lower light, too. As for temperature, it thrives between 65°F and 75°F. Want more? You can easily propagate it from stem or leaf cuttings in either soil or water. The best part? No major pest worries!
When propagating from cuttings make sure to have a stem with some nodes since that’s the area where your new roots will grow.
