Pothos Plant

The plant featured in this image holds personal significance to me. Originally belonging to my brother, it has been in my care for over seven years. During this time, I’ve watered it approximately once a week, although I occasionally forget. Despite this, the plant has thrived, and I’ve successfully propagated it multiple times, resulting in several new plants. These propagated plants have been shared with my clients and incorporated into my design projects, making this particular plant a meaningful part of both my personal and professional life.

The Pothos plant, known for its vine-like growth, is ideal for high or elevated spaces where its cascading leaves create a striking visual effect. It thrives with weekly or bi-weekly watering, depending on seasonal changes and environmental factors such as light, humidity, and temperature. A good practice is to let the top two inches of soil dry between waterings. Regular feeding with plant fertilizer supports healthy growth. Propagating new pothos plants is simple—just place cuttings in water or a suitable rooting medium. Be mindful of light exposure, as too much direct sunlight can cause the leaves to yellow.
